I had a great time hanging out with the Johnsons for their family photos in Corona Del Mar! It was a cold, windy day in November, but we still had fun exploring the tide pools and taking in the scenery. Fall and winter months are some of my favorite times to shoot at the beach because the summer crowds have cleared out and you have more of the place to yourself!
When planning family photos in Corona Del Mar, I always pick a day and time when the tide is low. The water can come up all the way to the cliffs during high tide, so you want to make sure you’ll be there when the sand and rocks are accessible. Additionally, I always recommend shooting on a weekday, even during off season, as weekends are still a popular time for locals and parking can get difficult.
