Now this wedding was one for the books! When Sarah contacted me with her idea for a Halloween wedding in Downtown Salt Lake City, I just knew I had to photograph it.
Sarah and Mike were married and sealed at Temple Square in Salt Lake City. Afterwards, we headed down to an abandoned Hard Rock Cafe in Trolley Square for some bridals. For their reception, they had the most rockin’ Halloween costume party at The Beehive, a small concert venue with a perfectly suited address of 666.
Sarah and Mike met playing foosball with friends, so in lieu of a first dance, they played a first foosball game as husband and wife. Afterwards, we danced the night away and enjoyed lots of treats and performances from friends. Everyone got so into it and brought out their best spooky looks.
If you’re thinking about getting married in Salt Lake City at Temple Square, definitely keep Halloween in mind for a date! The temple is so much less crowded and busy than in the summer months. We were the only ones there that day! There’s also a great chance for mild weather with the perfect amount of cloud cover for soft lighting!
